Pablo Rojas

About Me

I’m a recent computer science graduate, and I'm specializing in data analysis and data engineering. I love everything about working with big data, I'm a bit of a geek, especially when it comes to the engineering stories behind data workflows, like the ones Coding with Lewis and CodeSource share.

I mainly work with Python, PostgreSQL, Excel or Google Sheets. I’m especially interested in the intersection of software, product and cloud engineering.

Currently, working on my portfolio and taking courses on AWS, Java and other tools; I am also practising my containerisation skills using a local server (an old laptop running Fedora Server) to run labs in Podman, Docker and Floci.

My main goal at the moment is to obtain the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification.

Research Intern — DGPA UNAM

Curated documents for integration into OpenAI GPT chatbots and Gemini Gems. Using Python (Marker) and Bash (PDF Sandwich), I applied OCR to convert books and articles into Markdown text format, generated automatic transcripts of YouTube videos with Python (yt-dlp and Whisper), and created reports in Google Sheets.
